VDINSIT smart On-Board Weighing System VD2 of VDX Innovation Co., Ltd. was installed and tested at Sinotruk’s Laiwu vehicle testing center. This test mainly verifies the accuracy of VD2 applying to air suspension tractors, trailers, and tractor-trailer combination vehicles.

After repeated verifications, the system has demonstrated extremely high accuracy and reliability. According to the test data, the system error is as low as 0.3% (data on weighbridge is 32195kg, data on VDINSIT display is 32300kg). Engineers and experts involved in the project are pleased with the results, highlighting the system’s ability to provide real-time weighing data without compromising driving efficiency and safety.

After testing, Sinotruk intends to have a further collaboration with VDX to conduct research about the impact of precise load information on vehicle braking, driving and other performance, due to the precise measurement of VDINSIT On-Board Weighing System.

VDINSIT Smart On-board Weighing System is built on the core module of the “Smart Sensor” developed by our Germany electronic and mechanic experts, ready specially for OEM leaf spring and air suspension solution based on CAN J1939, making the OEM independently to the support of other suspension providers.
